THE ENGAGEMENT

How we work

One process at a time, with a point early on where you can take what we have produced and walk away. We would rather do one thing that survives Monday morning than five that demo well.

The stages

  1. 01SessionThirty minutes. You bring one frustrating process; we work out whether AI is the right answer for it. You leave with a written view either way.
  2. 02DiscoveryWe map that one process end to end — the emails, the spreadsheets, the exceptions, the heads it lives in — and produce a plan: what to build first, what it needs, what it will cost. This is the stop point. The plan is yours whether you continue or not.
  3. 03ConnectWe link the AI to the systems you already run. No rip-and-replace, no changes inside your ERP.
  4. 04AssistThe system runs beside your team and drafts. Your people correct it. Those corrections are how it gets good — and how you find out whether it works before committing further.
  5. 05AutomateOnly the steps you have watched and approved become unattended. You decide which, and you can move the line back.

What you own

The point of building an intelligence layer rather than renting a tool is that the second workflow reuses the first one's foundation: the same models, the same retrieval index, the same connections. That only holds if the foundation is yours. Ask us — and every other firm you talk to — to put the ownership of the code, the prompts, the retrieval index and any tuned models in writing before you start. It is question eight on our own checklist for a reason.

What we need from you

Access to the systems the workflow touches. The people who know how the work actually happens, for a few hours, early. And real examples — actual enquiries, actual quotations, actual exceptions, including the ugly ones. A tidied sample makes a system that only works on tidy days.

Capacity

We take on a small number of engagements at a time. If we are full we will say so rather than start late, and if your problem is a better fit for someone else we will tell you that too — see who this is and is not for.

Questions people ask

What do we own at the end?

The intention is that you own what we build for you and can run it without us. Confirm the specifics in writing before you start — with us or with anyone else. It is the question that separates a system from a subscription.

Can we stop partway?

Yes, and there is a defined point to do it. Discovery produces a written plan that is yours whether or not you continue. That is deliberate: it means you can take it to someone else.

How long until something works?

A first assisted workflow is a matter of weeks rather than a year-long programme, but the honest answer depends on how reachable your systems are. We will give you a range after discovery, not before it.

What do you need from us?

Access to the systems the workflow touches, the people who know how the work really happens, and real examples — actual enquiries, actual documents, actual exceptions. You do not need to tidy anything first.
